RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Our Commitment

At KISSES AND TREATS, we stand behind the quality of our products. We offer a 15-day return policy for faulty or defective items only.

15-Day Return Window

You have 15 days from the date you receive your item to request a return if the product is faulty or defective.

Eligible Returns

We accept returns only for items that are:

  • Faulty, defective, or damaged upon arrival
  • Damaged during shipping
  • Materially different from the product description
  • Not fit for their intended purpose due to manufacturing defects

Non-Returnable Items

We do NOT accept returns for:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse
  • Items that have been used, worn, washed, or altered
  • Items damaged due to misuse, neglect, or improper care
  • Hygiene-sensitive products (unless faulty or sealed packaging is unopened)
  • Customized or personalized items (unless faulty)

Your Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction:

Australia: Your rights under this policy are in addition to the Australian Consumer Law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

European Union: If you are located in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from purchases within 14 days without giving any reason (Right of Withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive). This is separate from our faulty goods policy.

United Kingdom: Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this policy.

United States: This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable state or federal consumer protection laws.

New Zealand: Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are not affected by this policy.

Canada: Your rights under applicable provincial consumer protection legislation are not affected.

Other Jurisdictions: Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country or region.

How to Initiate a Return

If you believe your item is faulty or defective, please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos or videos of the faulty/defective item
  • Detailed description of the issue or defect
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation email)

Return Process

  1. Contact Us: Email us at the address above with your return request
  2. Review: Our team will review your claim within 2-3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays)
  3. Approval: If approved, we will provide detailed return instructions and a return authorization
  4. Return Shipping:
    • For faulty items: We will cover return shipping costs or provide a prepaid label where available
    • For non-faulty returns (where permitted by law): Customer is responsible for return shipping
  5. Inspection: Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it within 5-7 business days
  6. Resolution: We will process your refund, replacement, or repair as appropriate

Return Shipping Address

Return shipping address will be provided upon approval of your return request. Do not send items back without prior authorization.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item
  • Depending on your payment provider and location, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or we made an error
  • Currency conversion fees (if applicable) are non-refundable

Exchanges & Replacements

If you received a faulty item and would prefer a replacement:

  • We will send you a new item at no additional cost once we verify the fault
  • If the item is out of stock, we will offer a full refund or alternative product of equal value

Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or goes missing during transit:

  • We will work with the shipping carrier and resolve the issue promptly

International Returns

  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees incurred during the return process

  • Return shipping times may vary by location (typically 10-30 business days)

Warranty

All products are covered against manufacturing defects for 15 days from delivery. This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or unauthorized modifications
  • Damage from failure to follow product care instructions
